Facility & Office Cleaning:

Office Cleaning
At BCM, our approach is: If it's in the room, clean it. That means that all furniture, fixtures, shelving, tables, chairs and any other hand height horizontal surfaces are wiped each service trip.

Some surfaces may require we clean with a dry, lint-free cloth while others would be better cleaned with a cloth treated with a liquid cleaner/disinfectant so as to remove fingerprints and smudges caused by contact with body oils.

Cleaning chemicals are never directly sprayed on delicate surfaces or electronic equipment. They are always sprayed on a cloth which is then wiped over all accessible surfaces. This removes germs, fingerprints & smudges and leaves the surface streak-free. Damp cleaning also improves indoor air quality because dust is held in the cloth and not moved around and dissipated into the air.

Floor Care Services:

Wood Floor Care
Wood floors are susceptible to water damage and must be sealed before any water based cleaners can be used. There are acceptable water based sealers which are odor free and can be used around food and retail stock, and there are highly toxic sealers which are longer lasting and are applied in empty rooms or warehouses because of the strong residual odors.

Wood flooring requires highly-trained floor care specialists to ensure your wood floor keeps looking its best.

Ceramic Tile
Most ceramic tile used in washrooms are glazed. They require cleaning with a disinfectant cleaner. The grouting requires special brushes to reach down into the recessed area of the grout.

If heavy odors persist (especially urine around the urinals or toilet bowls), then enzyme control is recommended, and disinfectants cannot be used with this. Sealing unglazed ceramic tile in washrooms and showers is also not recommended.

Resilient Tile
There are floor care programs based on the appearance level you desire for your resilient floor, ranging from "clean and bright" to "wet look." The appearance level you desire determines the labor, products, and machines required to accomplish the job, and this, of course, determines the cost.

Terrazzo Floor
Not everyone wants a high gloss, wet look, terrazzo floor, especially where elderly and infirm people walk (i.e., nursing and retirement homes). Special products and trained personnel can accomplish this appearance level, or give your terrazzo floor the wet look you may want.

Concrete Floor
Concrete floors are found in many different areas, some requiring continued maintenance and high gloss appearance; while other concrete floors are in out-of-the-way places and just require dust mopping occasionally.

If you have a manufacturing plant or industrial warehouse, we offer many types of seals and coatings for durability against heavy machines and lift trucks.

Carpet & Upholstery Services:

HOST® Dry Extraction
HOST® Dry Extraction system is recommended by carpet manufacuturers worldwide. The HOST Sponges Cleaner dissolves, absorbs and captures soil, stains and odors. The Sponges are brushed into the carpet with counter revolving brushes and then removed by vacuuming. The carpet is left clean, dry and ready for use.

Wet Extraction Cleaning
Wet extraction involves the application of hot water under pressure to loosen dirt and impacted debris, and "floats" it to to where the following vacuum suction is, and pulls it out of the carpet fibers. This type of cleaning is sometimes mistakenly referred to as "steam cleaning."

Dry Foam Shampooing
Often referred to as dry cleaning, because so little water is used, foam is produced through a generator and combed over the carpet surface and through the fibers to clean all around. Once the foam dissipates and dries, usually in half an hour to forty-five minutes, the floor is ready for foot traffic again.

Windows, Glass & Blind Services:

Windows & Glass
Very few things add as much sparkle to a facility as clean window glass. Entrance doors, transom windows, perimeter wall windows should be cleaned regularly. It is most cost effective to clean the exterior surfaces at least twice yearly and interior surfaces at least once yearly.

Blind Cleaning
Even sparkling clean windows can appear dull if you have dusty & dirty blinds. We offer hand dusting & washing or ultra-sonic cleaning (depending on your blind type) and suggest they be cleaned at least once yearly.
